Public Works Director
The Town of Sheridan is accepting applications for a full-time Public Works Director. Under general supervision of the Mayor, the Director performs skilled and supervisory work in the maintenance of streets, alleys, water distribution and sewer collection systems, town equipment and all other town facilities. The applicant must be self-motivated and responsible. A vehicle will be provided for use while at work. Public Works employees must coordinate schedules with coworkers to provide 24/7 coverage for water and wastewater plant operations as well as to maintain roads and parks. Applicants must be available for on-call scheduling. The successful applicant would be eligible for Public Employee Retirement System enrollment, Group Health Benefits, and paid vacation, sick and holiday time. Starting wage $25-30 DOE.
